The Life Support Helmets, Electronic Equipment, and Monitoring devices utilized by HPA are the cutting-edge technology used throughout the international petroleum refining industries during catalyst handling.

What are the regulatory bodies for PPE and what is their role?

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration, also known as OSHA, requires that only NIOSH-certified respiratory protection be used to protect workers from respiratory hazards. This means respirators must be compliant with Title 42, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 84.

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, also known as NIOSH, issues certificates of approval for complete respirators or combinations of respirators after the respirator or combination of respirators is evaluated by NIOSH, pursuant to a detailed protocol and found by NIOSH to comply with all the requirements of the NIOSH regulations at 42 CFR Part 84 (42 CFR Part 84).
